Description

The Banrock Station Cabernet Merlot displays rich ripe blackcurrant and plum nuances with hints of red cherry and red fruit lift. The lively fruit notes are supported by a very subtle oak influence. This is a medium bodied red wine that exhibits a great balance of ripe fruit character, sweetness and complexity. The blackcurrant, cherry palate is supported by the sweetness of the oak. Coupled with the delicacy of the fruit and oak is an enjoyable acid structure allowing the wine to finish smoothly with lingering flavour.
